"Shetland landscape"- fabric collection  2017/18

 

This project was inspired by the colours and textures of the Shetland landscape. I also researched Shetland’s weaving heritage, especially the tweed collection of the Shetland Museum’s archive and combined these two elements in my design process. I worked with mainly local Shetland wools and also handspun and hand-dyed yarns.
